TJCS volunteers gathering and planning Canadian themed events for 2015

On Saturday, January 24th, 2015, key TJCS Leadership gathered, along with 30 or so ardent volunteers, to kick off planning for the society’s 2015 event calendar.

While enjoying a sumptuous brunch buffet, served up by Shooters Sports Bar & Grill, we found time to get down to business and began refining our plans for another great year of Canadian-themed events for the Tokai Region of Central Japan.

People gathered in a restaurant, some listening to a presentation. Food on a buffet table.

TJCS executive and veteran leaders are very excited about the recent increase in volunteer interest – something vital to the ongoing growth of the society. If you would like to join our team of volunteers, please get in touch with us*.

Here are some of the events we have in the works:

  • Ski trip (Feb)
  • Hanami (Cherry Blossom Picnic) (Mar)
  • Hiking
  • Beach BBQ and Fishing
  • Canada Day
  • Camping
  • Day Trips
  • World Food Fair
  • Street Hockey
  • Thanksgiving / Christmas
  • Business Events
  • Much, much more...

*Being bilingual is NOT a requirement. We are very friendly and welcoming to everyone and you can communicate in either English or Japanese as you like!
