The Tokai Japan Canada Society is pleased to be supporting a seminar and networking lunch hosted by the Edmonton Economic Delegation, in collaboration with the Tokai Japan Canada Society (TJCS) and the Consulate of Canada in Nagoya.

Edmonton is a leading hub of innovation in Canada, driving forward-thinking initiatives across various industries. In particular, the city is actively developing the Edmonton Region Hydrogen Hub, playing a key role in the global hydrogen supply network to support a low-carbon society.

Additionally, Edmonton International Airport is gaining attention for its sustainable aviation initiatives, including the promotion of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), the world’s first hydrogen fuel cell trucks, and the use of renewable energy. These efforts serve as a model for carbon-neutral aviation and open new opportunities for collaboration with Japan’s aviation industry, including Chubu Centrair International Airport in Nagoya.

This seminar will highlight Edmonton's innovation strategies, featuring key representatives from Edmonton, Aichi Prefecture, and Nagoya City, as well as industry leaders.

It will be a valuable opportunity for business and technology exchange, fostering collaboration between Japan and Canada.
