Canadian Women's National Field Hockey team comes to Japan!

The Canadian women's field hockey team is currently in Japan for a series of matches against the Japanese squad, "Sakura Japan".
Following a series of matches played in Osaka, the teams will travel to Gifu for the final two games in the series.

This is a rare local opportunity to come out and support two great countries and these fine athletes in what we all hope will be a precursor to seeing these two teams in the Gold Medal match in Rio.

This year, 2017, marks a big year for Canada as it turns 150 years young!
It seems like only yesterday that Canada was celebrating its centennial year, and here we are celebrating its Sesquicentennial . Yes! There is a word for it. I mean, you would have thought something like, " tri-semi-centennial ", but the actual term sounds almost like Sasquatch, making it just that much more Canadian.
