TJCSについて

東海日本カナダ協会 (TJCS) はカナダと東海地方(愛知県、岐阜県、三重県、そして静岡県)が両国間で社会的、文化的、経済的分野での交流を図り、より良い関係を築こうと2004年11月に設立されました。TJCSは利益を得るための協会ではなく、日本の会員と東海地方に住んでいるカナダ人会員が交流を深め、友好的なよりよい関係を築くための協会です。


TJCSは、定期的に開かれる催し物やイベントを通してカナダ人同士がより親しくなり、またカナダ人と日本人だけでなく、国籍を問わず東海地方に住む皆様と交流を持ち、多くの繋がりを育んでいけるよう働きかけています。

私たちは協会の設立、そして協会の目的達成のために、名古屋のカナダ領事館ととても深い関わりがあります。TJCSはカナダ領事館と協力して様々なイベントを開催し、多くのカナダのビジネスを東海地方に紹介し、経済面でも相互交流を深めています。私たちは、この関係が経済面だけでなく、カナダと東海地方の社会的、文化的交流を促し、協会をより良いものにしていくための大きな役割を果たしてくれると確信しています。


年齢、国籍にかかわらず、1人でも多くの方に興味を持っていただき、カナダと東海地方の交流を深めていけるよう活動を続けて行きたいと思います。少しでも興味をお持ちの方はぜひ私たちの交流の輪にご参加ください。

TJCSの歴史

いくつかのカナダのグループが名古屋のカナダ協会について話し合うために名古屋のカナダ領事館にて会合が開かれました。 その結果、東海日本カナダ協会と決められ、名古屋のカナダ領事館のサポートを受けながら、下記のことを使命と目的として設立されました。


  • カナダと日本東海エリアで社会、文化、商業の発展を促す事
  •  メンバーズの間で社会的ふれあいの機会を増やす事、友好関係とカナダ人と日本にいる人々との交流の向上
  •  名古屋カナダ領事館の活動のサポート
  •  他の団体と多く興味を共有し、提携・共同すること

What is the Future of the TJCS?

The TJCS has been working hard over the past couple of decades to formally establish itself, its constitution, its Board of Governors and Executive, working together with the Canadian community, business leaders and government officials. Our inaugural year was exciting with many highlights centered around the Aichi World EXPO from March to September 2005. Our committees will continue to plan and hold events in keeping with our mission.


The ongoing success of the TJCS will depend on successful membership recruitment and the dedication and enthusiasm of its participants. This organization will continue to welcome both Canadians and Japanese, as well as others with a strong interest in or connection to Canada as members.
